Letterbox flowers | Bloom & Wild

JANUARY 2017 | LIFESTYLE

I love having flowers in my house. It’s one of those little things in life that puts a smile on my face. So I was thrilled when a friend surprised me with some gorgeous flowers from Bloom & Wild. Delivered through my letterbox; the flowers arrived in pretty yet protective packaging with suggestions to keep my blooms looking brilliant.

If you haven’t heard of Bloom & Wild; here’s the way it works…

The beautiful bouquets are designed by a professional florist and are easily ordered using the Bloom & Wild website or the app (which is really user-friendly and you get money off your first app order). You can browse the different flower arrangements online and add on extras like chocolates and candles.

Pre-order for a given date or if you order before 4pm you can take advantage of free, next day delivery via Royal Mail. There’s also the option to pay for guaranteed delivery by courier. In London you can also choose Bloom & Wild Now, which offers a two-hour flower delivery service.

When it’s time for your order to make its way out in the world, the flowers will be hand-packed into their specially designed box to keep them safe while on their delivery journey. When your flowers arrive at their destination they’ll be posted through the letterbox, so no one needs to be in to receive them. Arriving with arrangement and care instructions, your flowers will be sent in bud so they last longer – they promise at least a week.

The gift of flowers

If you know someone who really loves flowers…how about giving a Bloom & Wild gift card – you can choose between an e-card or you can get one sent in the post with free next day delivery. Gift cards are available for £30, £50 and £100. Or how about the gift of a flower subscription. Once a month for three/six/twelve months the lucky person will receive a different fresh flower bouquet through their letterbox. A three month subscription is £50 – six months is £95 and 12 months is £185 (which works out as just over £15 per month).

Here’s a few pictures of my flowers…they looked great for well over a week. (Must work on my floral arranging skills though!) Thank you to my fabulous friend for treating me. x
